Nasser Bakhti (Switzerland)

Nasser Bakhti
Born in 1960 in Algiers, Algeria. Since 1990 lives in Switzerland. Joint Algerian and French citizenship. Received a degree in modern languages. Graduate from the Mountview Art and Drama School in London. 1989-92 Collaborates on various productions for BBC, Channel 4 and the French Swiss Broadcasting Service (RTS) as scriptwriter, production manager and director. Alan Foale (Great Britain)

Specialiste in cinema and art dramatique, former director
Formerly Director of Film at Trinity & All Saints Institute at the University of Leeds, Alan Foale (born 1949) specialised in cinema and drama, using films as pedagogic tools as well as objects of study. He has a special interest in cinema as cultural communication and offered courses in the field of world cinema (African, Indian, Japanese). He remains engaged in film education, with Ciné Clubs and with the promotion of rural cinema in Yorkshire. He is also closely involved in community theatre as actor and director.


Pierre Marguerat (Switzerland)

Pierre Marguerat (*1947) studied protestant theology at the University Lausanne and has been between 1974-2010 pastor in three communities of the protestant Church in Canton de Vaud. For some years he served for the information and communication of his Church. During all his life as pastor, he has been convinced, that the knowledge of the man’s life and the world goes through the sensitive lecture of the Scriptures, but in a different way also through the attention of literature, cinema fiction or documentary) and painting.  


Ilaria Piperno (Italy)

Ilaria Piperno (*1978) has a University degree in Italian contemporary Literature. She lived in Paris for a research period at the EHESS concerning the European novel of the Enlightment. Currently she works as publishing consultant and literary translator from French and English. She translates into Italian several books, among others the screenplays by the well-known Jewish writer Irène Némirovsky (La sinfonia di Parigi, Elliot, Roma 2012). In the past she has also worked for a cinema press office and she has also been engaged in a working group for a round of meetings about cinema, officially organized by the Jewish Community of Rome.
